Meatza – Low carb/LCHF Meat Pizza

The base/meat:

700 gram beef and pork minced meat

1 teaspoon salt

1 finely chopped onion

1-2 garlic cloves

1 egg

1-2 dl grated parmesan cheese

some pepper

Preheat the oven to 200 -250 °C.

Put the meat in a bowl add in the salt and work/scrape with a fork for the meat to “merge” or for the protein to be released.

Add in remaining ingredients and blend well.

Pat out on a baking pan about 40 cm long and bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until brown and “baked”..

Pizza sauce:

2 table spoons Olive oil

1 large onion – chopped

about 1 dl tomato pure

2 tbsp water

a pinch of vinegar

Oregano or similar spice

some fresh diced tomatoes if you like

Heat the olive oil add in onions and let simmer briefly, add in remaining ingredients.

Cook until sauce is reduced.


Mushrooms – sliced

Red bell pepper (Paprika) – sliced

2 dl mozzarella cheese

Fry the mushrooms and peppers to release water content, or the Meatza will be wet.

Add the sauce, maybe some extra fresh chopped red onions if you like, the mushrooms, peppers and finally the cheese and shove in the oven until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
